Limousine-Car-Service-To-From-Airport-Transportation-Cruise-Wedding-Funeral-Cheap- Six Rules Every Wedding Party Should Follow When Using Their Services

Weddings are a special time in a person’s life. It does not matter who is getting married. It means you have found the person you want to spend the rest of your life with and that is not an easy chore to start with.

Below you will find a few wedding do’s and don’ts when taking a limo to and from your wedding destination.

Limousine-Car-Service-To-From-Airport-Transportation-Cruise-Wedding-Funeral-Cheap-: Six Mistakes You or the Guests Do Not Want To Make[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”307″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]1- The first thing you should do is plan well in advance. Do you remember about the bride and groom talking about reserving their chapel at least a year or so in advance? The same rules apply here too. You need to let the company know about when the event is happening at least a year or more in advance.

You would be surprised at how many other people are lining up to take your spot. It also depends on where the wedding is. The more popular and hectic the place is, the more in advance you have to plan. I knew one girl, living in Washington D.C., who had everything planned at least 6 months in advance. It can get that crazy.

2- You have to hire a professional to help you. I am sorry, but it saves time and money on coordinating different rides with different people. You need to take care of everyone’s transportation issues now. Talk to the pros. Tell them what you want and when.

They should be able to give you everything you need. I would also let your wedding guests know what is happening with the rides before the day happens. This is your wedding day. Do you really want the added stress of someone saying they cannot ride in “this” for some insane reason?

People come up with a lot of excuses as to why they cannot do something. That is why you should let them know well in advance. That way you can take care of most of the issues before the big day.

3- Consider the style of limo you want. I suggest going with something more traditional. Some like to get the tricked-out double-decker stretch limos. Do you really need that? You are not trying to impress anyone, regardless of how it looks. The limo is there as a privilege. Keep everything as understated as possible. FYI: You will be charged for every tricked-out extra you get. Keep that in mind when you tally the budget.

The truth is, you are not going to be spending a lot of time in the limo on your wedding day. It is going to be a short trip unless you are going to another state, which I do not suggest you do.

Keep things simple with your choice of the limo. FYI: Every little amenity you add goes on your tab. You will have to pay for all of this. Think smart.

4- Do you have out-of-towners coming in for the big day? You may want to consider offering accommodations. It is not required, but some of them may be coming into a strange city or town. The worst thing you can do is allow someone who feels like a “duck of water” to fend for themselves. This creates more drama on the big day.

Some of them may try to make you feel guilty for not offering accommodations. It is best to book them a place to stay. It is also best to let them ride with the other guests in one of the limos. It is going to save you from having that awkward conversation with them later.

5- Read the contract in full. They may charge you for specific damages. You could be charged a fee for guests that arrive late.

What happens with a cancellation? Do they offer a refund? What is their policy on payments? You should also make sure the company you use has the right insurance.

The last thing you want is to be billed for something the company did not cover.

6- Will you use the limo anytime between the engagement party and the wedding day? You will need to confirm every booking if you do. Most companies are not equipped to handle a spontaneous job inquiry. In other words, you cannot call them Tuesday and say you need the limo by Friday night. It does not work that way.

FYI: Remember to expect the unexpected. Something will go wrong. I can almost guarantee it. Your job is to plan ahead as much as possible. Have a plan on the backburner just in case there are delays or setbacks of any kind.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
